How do I commission a painting from the artist?
Fill out the required form, Commission Criteria Form and send to Alex Loza via mail to PO BOX 1389, Collegedale, TN 37315 or via email to
jaloza@alexloza.com. The Artist Representative will contact you to set the initial consultation at no charge.
What is the smallest and largest sizes of canvas I can commission?
The smallest canvas you can commission is 18"x24"
There is no specific size for the largest canvas but it depends on the availability of materials. (Panels will be used if painting is too large.)
If I commission a portrait, do I have to be present to pose or can I provide photos? What size do the photos have to be?
Artist prefers painting from live but we understand that the distance and schedule of the clients are not always flexible. Artist will accept photos, please
make sure there are 300 dpi (dot per inch) and high resolution. The more pictures you provide the Artist with the more realistic the portrait will be. Further
information will be provided when commissioning a portrait.
*Please note that the photos will be returned to you after the commission is completed.
How much will I be charge for a commission?
It all depends on the subject and size of your painting. Artist representative will contact you to discuss prices once the Commission Criteria Form is
received.
Besides the commission price, is there any additional charges/fees?
Yes, Additional charges are as follow:
1. Framing is not included but it can be provided and price will be given to you based on size of the painting.
2. Boxing/crating for shipping
3. Freight: Shipping & Handling this depends on where the commission will be sent. (If the client lives locally he/she can pick up
commission or Artist can deliver but there will be a charge per miles.)
4. Insurance: All artwork that has to be shipped to a client needs to be insured.
