Artist's Bio.

Alex Loza, an artist that honors Peru through his paintings.  His works are emphasized for their unique and unmistakable seal in
the lines, colors, the chiaroscuro (the distribution of light and shade in a picture) and the explosive emotions of their
personages.  His path includes the participation in several events (festivals) where is celebrated and exalts the culture and
independence of Peru and the Latin American culture.  Some of his participations have been with ABN AMRO bank in Chicago
titled "The Hispanic Art Fair", the celebration of the Independence of Peru in Plaza Daley and Chicago's Dia del Nino.

His work has impacted so many people locally as internationally.  So much so that the Peruvian composer and musician,
Gerardo Rehuel Sánchez categorizes him as "…a youth that is catalogued already, as one of the best painters of the world"
"…that deserves to be classified in the group of the ten young people abroad and that are" Pride of Peru", and "THE BEST OF
THAT WHICH IS OURS".  To this the Art History Professor, Asun Carrillo adds from Spain "…that his works are full of deep roots
that causes him to create a vivid chromatic palette, full of poise and of accentuated emotions".  The Native singer, RosaLuz "The
Native Voice of Peru" says that Alex "…in spite of the distance he carries Peru in his blood but even more in his art which leaks
Peruvian essence in his steps by other hearths."  And the Peruvian producer Juan Carlos Ogañes said that "... in truth is a pride
to have a countryman with talent to spare and so well educated in the matter."  Also there have been articles written in the, “La
Raza” (Hispanic newspaper) in Chicago, Illinois, New York Post and in the online Peruvian newspaper “Cronica Viva.

In the 2005 next to its friend and countryman; sculptor Luy Ken become part of IN2IT INTERNATIONAL, an agency that represents
other artists, sculptors, muralists, bands and musicians such as Juanes, Victor Manuel, Rey Ruiz, Lifehouse and Jaci
Velasquez  just to name a few.  

At the end of 2007 the artist Alex Loza steps to form part of the artists that Mr. José Barrera, Principal of the Columbia Explorers
Academy who commissions local painter to paint portraits of Mexican heroes for the elementary academy.  At the beginning of
2008 the portrait of the woman poet, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz will be able to be seen by thousands of children, youths and art
lovers.  


Although the years pass, Alex has always maintained his vision and mission “to Exalt and to share the values, history and wealth
of the Latin American culture.”
