ÉCORCHÉ 2 : THE MUSCLES
*Sculpture experience is recommended.
*Pre-requisite: ÉCORCHÉ 1 : THE SKELETON
Continuing from Écorché 1: The Skeleton, this course focuses on the skeletal
muscles of the human body – their form, proportions, origins, insertions and
actions. Detailed lecture, observation of the model and anatomical specimens
from the previous course.

Materials:
- HB Charcoal or Graphite pencils
- sketch book, kneaded eraser
- box cutter to sharp pencil
- (1) 50 lbs. water base clay
- molding tools, calipers
- pipes and wire for armature
- armature wire
- and a 20” x 12” x 3/4” modeling board.
